As part of the Culture Days of the Republic of Tajikistan in the Republic of Kazakhstan, from August 23 to 29, 2023, a round table will be held on the topic “Current state and prospects for the development of scientific and technical cooperation between Tajikistan and Kazakhstan.” Organizers are the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan together with the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan.
Scientists from Kazakhstan and Tajikistan will take part in the round table, who will discuss such current topics as “Potential and prospects for scientific cooperation between Tajikistan and Kazakhstan”, “Tajik-Kazakh trade economic cooperation and prospects for its development”, “Cooperation between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Kazakhstan on issues of rehabilitation of uranium industry waste», «Use of the results of a probabilistic assessment of the seismic hazard of the region for the development of interstate standards for seismic construction», «Assessment of the seismic hazard of the territories of regions and cities of Kazakhstan on a modern scientific and methodological basis», «State and prospects for the development of Kazakhstani science in the field of biological security» and others.
The moderator of the round table is Vice-President of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Lyazzat Eralieva. Participants — Vice-President of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Akhylbek Kurishbaev, Vice-President of the National Academy of Sciences, Chairman of the Department of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Chemistry, Geology and Technology Gulchekhra Kokhirova, Director of the Institute of Economics and Demography of the National Academy of Sciences Sharif Rakhimzoda, Director of the Institute of Geology, Earthquake Resistant Construction and seismology NAST Pulod Aminzoda, Director of the Institute of Seismology of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan Daulet Sarsenbaev and other Kazakh and Tajik scientists.
