September 30, 2023, Almaty. The National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan held the first “1st BUSINESS AND SCIENCE EVENT” in the history of the country, designed to establish and strengthen connections between science, business and production.
Reputable business representatives and famous scientists held master classes and training seminars and took part in plenary discussions.
Guests of the event were businessman Mukhtar Zhakishev, founder of Freedom Holding Corporation Timur Turlov, co-founder of Sergek, CEO of Freedom Telecom Holding Kairat Akhmetov, director of Korkem TELECOM Asset Akhmetov, general director of JSC National Holding Qazbiopharm, Professor Ergali Abduraimov, founder and founder of the Astana Vision network of clinics: President of the Association of Eye Clinics “Astana Vision” Vladimir Kim and other businessmen and scientists.
Within the framework of the forum, Memoranda of Cooperation were signed between the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan (hereinafter referred to as the Academy) and the United Nations in Kazakhstan; between the Academy and Industrial Nanotechnologies LLP, as well as tripartite memorandums between the Physico-Technical Institute of the Kazakh National Technical University named after Kanysh Satpayev, the Academy and MIAMI SOLAR LLP; between the Physico-Technical Institute of the Kazakh National Technical University named after Kanysh Satpayev, the Academy and TAU NANO GROUP LLP; between the Kazakh National Technical University named after Kanysh Satpayev, the Academy and Mining Technology LLP; between the Almaty University of Energy and Communications named after Gumarbek Daukeev, the Academy and Alageum Electric LLP.
On the sidelines of the forum, a scientific and innovative exhibition was also held, at which scientists presented their developments, ready for commercialization in such areas as medicine, agriculture, robotics, artificial intelligence, military science, aerospace science, green technologies, tourism, engineering, natural sciences , astrophysics, ensuring biological safety, veterinary safety and others.
The forum took place within the framework of the instructions of Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, who, at the first meeting of the National Council on Science and Technology under the President, emphasized that “Business must cooperate with the scientific community to increase the volume of research work in the production sectors of the economy.
