Almaty Management University is holding an International Scientific and Practical Conference on October 20, 2023: “Strengthening the regime of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) and global security: challenges and prospects.”
The purpose of the conference: to contribute to strengthening the regime of the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT) to achieve peace, security, stability and sustainable development in the international arena.
The following topics will be discussed during the conference:
- Modern challenges to the NPT regime and ensuring global security;
- Regional aspects of cooperation between countries in the field of non-proliferation of nuclear weapons;
- The role of nuclear energy in ensuring energy security and sustainable development;
- Application of nuclear technologies in industry and medicine;
- The place and role of Kazakhstan in the global campaign for nuclear disarmament.
We invite experts in the field of non-proliferation of nuclear weapons, the use of peaceful atoms and global security issues to participate.
Venue of the conference: Almaty, AlmaU, st. Rozybakieva 227, A600 room.
Conference languages: Kazakh, Russian, English.
