At a meeting on the development of science held at the Ministry of Science and Higher Education with the participation of the National Academy of Sciences under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Minister Sayasat Nurbek presented the state medal «For Merits to the Fatherland» to the director of the Academy’s Department of Science, Ruslan Ergalievich Nurlibaev.
Ruslan Nurlibaev, a PhD degree holder, a renowned inventor, and the author of over 75 scientific works, was awarded for his outstanding contribution to the field of science, as reported by IA El.kz.
In 2016, he successfully implemented a project to create vacuum thermal insulation panels, for which he received a special grant from the World Bank. The products of this invention are in demand abroad, according to MNVO.
Ruslan Ergalievich, starting his career in the field of science, actively inspired his colleagues for scientific research and creativity. His career in the field of science includes a long service at Satbayev University, starting as an engineer at the Institute of Metallurgy and Polygraphy and culminating in the position of Deputy Director of the Institute of Chemical Engineering. For several years, he also headed the Council of Young Scientists at the university.
