Meeting with the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to the USA, E. N. Ashikbayev: Development of Scientific Cooperation

February 28, 2024, USA – During her official visit to the United States, the Vice-President of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan under the President of Kazakhstan, Lyazzat Yeraliyeva, met with the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to the USA, Mr. Yerzhan Ashikbayev.

The meeting addressed issues concerning the mission, tasks, and activities of the National Academy of Sciences of Kazakhstan. In turn, Mr. Ashikbayev expressed his strong willingness to support all efforts of the Academy in developing bilateral scientific cooperation and emphasized the importance of promoting Kazakhstan’s scientific interests within the global scientific community.

Special attention was given to topics related to life and health sciences, particularly in the context of medical research. This meeting represents a significant step in deepening cooperation between Kazakhstan and the United States in the field of science and technology and reflects the commitment of both countries to fostering mutual understanding and collaborative scientific activities.
