Almaty, May 30, 2024 – The National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and the International Organization of Turkic Culture (TURKSOY) have officially signed a memorandum of cooperation at the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
This memorandum outlines a comprehensive framework for collaboration, including the execution of joint projects and initiatives in regional research, social research and innovation, community development, migration research, culture and civilization research, field research and oral history research, urban, environmental research and various other domains.
The signing ceremony was held in conjunction with the presentation of the book «Kökjal» by Sultan Raev, a distinguished writer from Kyrgyzstan, recipient of the Toktogul State Prize, and Secretary General of TURKSOY.
Representing the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Vice President Abai Serikkanov participated in the event. Both parties expressed their confidence that this memorandum will serve as a significant milestone in fostering mutual development and enriching cultural and scientific achievements.
